Anita Holtz, MD

Anita Holtz, MD, is a board-certified pulmonologist and critical care specialist at Southwest Pulmonary Associates in Plano, Texas. Dr. Holtz earned her Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience from Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island, before receiving her Doctor of Medicine from the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee. She completed a preliminary residency in General Surgery at Northwestern University/McGaw Medical Center in Chicago, followed by an Internal Medicine residency at Rosalind Franklin University. She then went on to complete her fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas.

Board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Pulmonary Medicine, Critical Care Medicine, and Internal Medicine, Dr. Holtz is equipped to provide expert care across a broad spectrum of pulmonary disorders, including asthma, COPD, lung infections, and interstitial lung disease.

Outside of her medical practice, Dr. Holtz enjoys an active lifestyle and values quality time with her family. She loves spending her free time with her husband, daughter, and their beloved bulldog. Her personal interests include running, cooking, and staying active. Dr. Holtz is committed to building meaningful relationships with her patients and improving their long-term respiratory health.
